Noise reduction kit for David Clarks
I have seen the kit at '&&&&&& $%^&*' for $239. But i am not going to crack open my already overpriced DC's and start cutting wires! Anyone know someone in Vancouver who would do the conversion?
I've fallen and i can't get up!

Get an Oregon Aero foam kit. Got one for $50 on ebay and there is a very noticeable improvement. When you open your DC ear cups you will get a laugh about how much protection is really in there. That's if you're on a budget.
Other than that Bose is the way to go, from what I heard.

Headsets inc. gives you a 3 year warranty on parts and labour if you have them factory install it.Pretty good deal if your DC warranty has expired or even if you're a couple of years into the warranty period i think. They had my headset back to me within 10 days of me sending it to them.
I purchased an active noise cancelling upgrade for my dc's and wasn't all to impressed. I even had them professionally installed after I opened the dc's up and realized it would be a tad more difficult than I thought. With the noise cancelling ON it was somewhat better than plain old original dc's, with the unit OFF they were substantially louder than the originals. Batteries lasted only 15-20 hrs or so which sucks since I generally used them 5-6 hrs a day. Yada yada yada.....go Bose or similar.
