What was your telephone prescreen like? What kind of questions did they ask you? I'll be having mine sometime in the future. I just got the e-mail today.

I never got a letter, just a phone call. Interview on the phone just ask things about me, went over my resume and what I did for those jobs. Asked me why i wanted to work for Westjet. That was pretty well much it. It was about 30 mins. Really went well.

Why do you want to work for WestJet? Is it so you can work with the ladies?

here is the ironic thing in life...you rock star wangler jean wearing pilots dream the dream of the heavy iron for the good pay and all the sex your wife will never know about.

Fact is, years of polluting the industry with scabs of pilots working for free have left you arriving at the majors for the lowest starting salary the industry has ever seen because that is what you sown. The perks of week long lay overs in Greece are long gone. Everything you all dreamed about...is now reserved for Hollywood movies.

In fact, there are more gay men in this industry as Professional Cabin Crews than women. So all that sex you dreamed about with young beautiful blond, blue angel eyed virgins ready to drop their white cotton panties plop on their backs and ready to recieve the best minute and 23 seconds on their lives...is just desserts when you don't respect other professional in the industry.

It's no wonder many other colleagues in our field that are not pilots think we are knobs...

Respect our colleagues.

let me rephrase...Worldwide figures;

60% are women, 40 are men. only 7% of those men...are straight. AND 2% of those women were lesbian.

This from a friend of mine that attended some conference convention back in the 90's about cabin safety and regualtions.

One item on the table was introducing the no-smoking bans on flights.

I like how the friend/speaker went from "smoking ban" to F/A's to Gay F/A's... LoL... But like I said, I quit if my chances are that slim.. =( Oh wait, I go fly for Cathay, no Gay's allowed in china... Oh wait, someone said they legalised it.... What has happened to the world.....

dude...flight attendants are staff, colleagues, people that work for the company just like you...they are not geisha's for the amusement of pilots.
You gotta be "not livin' in the now" if you think your 3 bananas on each shoulder is gonna get you any respect from them much less sleep with your cheap sorry ass **Note generalizing not an attack on you yyz

I'm wasting my breath here...

Gentlemen, don't let him discourage you, a well dressed silver tongued gentlemen will do VERY well for himself in this business.
Keep your shoes shined and a $50 in your wallet.

I don't think the "dancer" at The landing Strip cares about your shiney shoes...will part you from that 50 pretty quick though.

Are you guys for real?

Boys..and I do mean boys, no wonder you have such poor performance.
The $50 is not to blow at peeler bars and rub n tug joints.
The 50 is to buy your flightys a round or to get a taxi back to the hotel...it's all about providing a comfort zone.

So, what defines the perfect flight by todays standards?

It used to be:

The Second Officer gets laid
The First Officer has a good landing
The Captain has a good bowel movement...

Or the 3 things an FO may need to say for a good flight:

Nice Landing!
Must have been a gust!
I'll take the ugly one....!

Don't worry Birddog. This too shall pass as the boys grow up
