I really buy into the culture.
It is said that people such as myself are brainwashed by the powers that be. By drinking too much blue koolaid. I drink it by the bucket.

Welcome aboard, glad to have you.

No, I wasn't good enough. I guess the goal of the interview is to make the worst paper airplane, not the one that's the coolest.

I landed a job with a large grocery store as an assistant category manager. The pay's a lot better, 35K to start and I'll know where I'll be at the end of the day. I would have really enjoyed working with WestJet, it's something I really had a passion for, but like everyone else sometimes we don't get the things we want, but other opportunities always come up. I start on Wednesday and I'll be moving to Calgary this weekend, it'll be a nice long drive from YQQ.

I don't know anything about the coolest paper airplane but your last post was the coolest post I've read in a long time...

Good Luck in whatever you decide to do..

If you truly have a passion for it you should be viewing this as only a bump in the road and reapply in the future. Take what positives you can from the first round and make yourself better. Pilots hear "no" from WJ but can reapply with success.
