I applied on the website, and that was about it!kevin.snaden wrote:flyguy72 wrote:I got hired as a FA hours and types were not a concern.Frank Castle wrote:You lucky bastard, congrats. Can you share your hours, types etc?

FrankWhat kind of qualifications did you have? What kind of past work experience? University? Did you do anything other than apply on the website? Any footwork?
No, I wasn't good enough. I guess the goal of the interview is to make the worst paper airplane, not the one that's the coolest.
I landed a job with a large grocery store as an assistant category manager. The pay's a lot better, 35K to start and I'll know where I'll be at the end of the day. I would have really enjoyed working with WestJet, it's something I really had a passion for, but like everyone else sometimes we don't get the things we want, but other opportunities always come up. I start on Wednesday and I'll be moving to Calgary this weekend, it'll be a nice long drive from YQQ.

I don't know anything about the coolest paper airplane but your last post was the coolest post I've read in a long time...kevin.snaden wrote:No, I wasn't good enough. I guess the goal of the interview is to make the worst paper airplane, not the one that's the coolest.
