well diet wise, i don't know if you read my post, i've already lost 40 lbs, i am at 225 right now. They have set me down at 185 lbs as a goal weight. Now i am not sure if you are familiar with doctor bernstein's diet, but that's what i am on, and in the 3 month's i've lost the 40 lbs. I am quite proud.
And yes you are right about my fat and lean percentage, my fat is at 41.2 and my lean is 58.8%
The ideal fitness ratio for someone is a 4:1 or a 5:1 where my ratio currently is a 1.426:1
So for every 1.426 lbs of lean, i have 1 lb of fat.
Yes i do know that weight will cause an issue later on in life, that's why i am lowering the weight now. I don't like to cheat, I just like to get it on with the way and live a good life style.
I am at 225 today, and i need to be 185, as per the doctor's requirements because of my heavy muscle mass (as she said), now 185 is still "in the overweight" category of the BMI; however, it is not obese.
But lol you were to see me before, heck, i was at almost 38 BMI, i feel 32.3 is a great accomplishment. And you know, i am not that far away from what, a 29.9. Therefore i am keeping at it and will start to excercise. I realize that excercise is an important part of a pilot's lifestyle, it becomes rather essential when you age.
Also, then with that in mind man, I shouldn't have that much of an issue for the ECG then?

Don't worry , 3 times in the last 15 years the machine spit out that I had a heart attack, Once 2 days before going overseas. Each time that it happened they didn't shave my chest ( me being a hairy bastared). Causes a little bit of stress at the start especially when they make you run on the god dame tread mill with 50 pounds of wire hanging of you and a difibultar standing by.
That said its only a medical just don't go in drunk and you'll pass.

well first I'd like to say shutup and stop worrying. My god! you'll get it. Second if you would like a good healthy way of living go pick up the book "The Abs Diet" Kick ass book and a guide to healthy living. It's not even a diet. I know it says it but it isn't. Read the whole thing. It's got alot of good facts and as we all know diets don't really work in the long run... but this book like I said is not a diet. Have you even started flying yet?? and if not why are you getting your class 1 right now?? Should have got it a little closer to your first solo. But hey what do I know. i just fly planes!
Pilots are COOL!

you for sure need it for the written. I have to say this though, ANY FAT ASS WITH EYE BALLS AND A PULSE WILL GET A CLASS 1 MED. I've seen the drunkest fatest losers get a class 1 without even the slightest problem. Like I said before its actually just a cash cow for retired doctors and a placebo for passengers that their pilot is physically fit. You might have a little trouble with no ears.

If you can make it through Quicksilver's avatar without heart palpitations then your probably not human (or at least not male in which case you're one hefty woman at 225"
), but hey the worst that can happen is that you have to wear a mobile ECG on your hip for a week. You seem a little wound up. Try closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. Relax, there's nothing to worry about.
And hey big brother is not watching you... but ceiling cat sure is...

hehe lol
well today i found out that ECG is to figure out if you have any irregular heart beats. They don't apparently judge your ECG based on heart rate or blood pressure - unless, the waves were like 1mm distant from eachother LOL !
So i guess the thing that remains is the audio gram, cause as far as i know, my heart does not shoot off irregular beats?
