All you need is PPC and 300 hours on type and class in the last three years.

There are a million jobs 'up for grabs', so I don't know why a Navajo job is so great that it requires that type of wording. Did someone say it was a joke?

You have a position open, so advertise it in the usual place. If you are not getting the applications that you thought you would, there is a reason. It is not because someone thinks the posting is a joke.

Perhaps you need to sweeten the pot.

And do I hear 800 hours with time on type, and I have 800 with time on type, anyone showin 1000 hours time on type with a current ppc, any takers, going once....to the red-haired guy in the corner with the sonic blue jacket, do I have 1200 hours, 300 on type, PPC, and the new gentleman mutant on the right with the keystone cowboy hat, do I have 1500 hours 1000 on type....going once....going twice..

EZ jiggely bus, some of us aren't SET UP, as it sounds like you are.

Those of us with entry level positions are more than anxious to get our careers on the go. This is a good oppertunity to accomplish this. I am trying to put a young pilots mind at ease by letting them know that there is good work here and not to be worried about any BS that operators tend to throw at us to get us to work for little flying and less pay.

Ease up big guy. Read your sops or something and leave us to our goings on.

No offence but the Navajo is actually a handful and should only be operated 'especially' if IFR by someone with some experience...it could get you into trouble pretty quick...

If you re-read his original post, he specifies 300 hours on type and a PPC.

If someone has a PPC, 300 hours on type, and still can't fly an approach, well, he should probably consider another career - how about ball washer at a golf course?

No its used by many different companys to do work in alot of different places.
