Good Clean Highway Fun

Increadable lunacy. The cop should lose his job and that driver should be hung. Fine to say that it was a fine piece of driving but their were an awful lot of lives risked in that chase. One wrong move by an unsuspecting driver and the ending would have been much worse. Not smart by either party.

K, for those not catching it, that isn't a real cop and the scene is rather set up. But hey, it is a crazy chase and the driving is unreal if rather stupid and dangerous. The links provided by Walker make it rather clear.

Are you trying to tell me that every car they passed on those public highways knew what to do and that the whole chase was staged. I was born in the dark but it wasn't last night.

It does look reckless and stupid, but I also think it is staged.
Sometimes you have to look past WHAT you're seeing and examine HOW you are seeing it. If it was all filmed from the "bike cam" I would call it a chase.
The fact that there were cameras all along the route filming the thing with near movie precision tells me that the guys behind the cameras were not amatuers, and the route was planned because they weren't standing there by accident. It looks exactly like the coverage you see from Rally driving
