From AVWeb online article here are a couple of videos from a guy who has built cameras into his R/C planes and wears a virtual reality set of goggles to go "flying".

It would be very confusing to come in for a landing and see yourself standing there. :smt119

That's awesome. All it needs now is some little guns. Maybe some NVG too. Oh the fun you could have with guns + NVG on something like that...
