Hay just wondering about the condition of their FTDs...Do they still only have the old (AST-300) Or do they have something newer....Because their website says that they have the AST-300
ALSO what's the condition of the sim for use/training
The ATC 810 and AST 300 FTDs do not fully meet CAR 606.03(2), which states: “The Minister shall, where it is determined that the synthetic flight training equipment meets the standards set out for that equipment in the Aeroplane and Rotorcraft Simulator Manual, issue to the operator of that equipment a flight simulator certificate or flight training device certificate.”

On July 28, 2005, a ministerial exemption was issued for all operators using ATC 810 and AST 300 FTDs.

Their AST 300 was upgraded several years ago and is likely better than the old ATC810's and they have A PFT Elite - the Elite is used for both ratings and licences so it has that additional certification
