I have no love for the guy that ran that place, but there were some good people working there. Just wondering if you have managed to find some good jobs after the dust settled.

Too bad for the guys working there thinking they were going to move up the ladder, get some experience and move on. Don't give up hope as we can only move forward and again too bad if it is true.

Helinas, you mean too bad for the other pilots. What about AME's office staff, counter staff. Typical of pilots to think of only themselves and their proffesion. Aviation is made up of many more people than just pilots

Yeah from what I have been hearing this will be run by altaflights using a citation 501 and some jetstream's.Mainly charters but also plans a FBO to FBO operation between YYC-YEG.Peace air is supposedly doing this soon too.

twnotter you are wrong 100% regarding my comment. I am a fully licenced pilot trying to get an instructor rating so I can have fun flying and teaching others to fly and plan to do instructing for a long time and not simply to build time.

secondly, I am a ramp worker for Air Canada and the former Canadian Airlines for the past 17 years , r a m p w o r k e r and not pilot. I work with counter staff, cleaning personnel and other workers every day so don't tell me I don't feel for these people, I feel equally for eveybody that works in this industry so I don't appreciate the comments.

If I came across as only feeling bad for the pilots, my apologies but I feel for everybody because I work with all the support staff that make an airplane go forward.

doesn't Express Air do it between yqr and yxe? Or do they use the terminal?

My mistake helinas, I sounded like you were sympathizing with pilots. It is pretty sad for al employees of a company that goes under. But then again when an airline goes under theres another start up around the corner. My apologizes again.
