Am I the only pilot out there that thinks that airshows are full of a bunch of bores?

It is a dream to attend this airshow for most pilots... BUT it is held right in the middle of the prime time for flying, for most of the businesses... thus making it impossible for any float pilot or seasonnal worker to make it there...

I have had people inviting me to stay at their house for the duration of the airshow, offering me free tickets as a tip for flying them to remote destinations... i guess they will remain teasers, and I will annualy hope to someday be able to make it there...someday...

Do you suppose cowboys dream of someday making it to the rodeo?

Meh, r/c jets do only one thing, go fast. If you want insane exitement get yourself a plane that can hover off the prop. I will have mine pretty soon. http://www.3dbatix.com . Some good videos there(not me flying though).

I stand corrected then. I still dont see how the 1/3 scale sukhoi with that setup can be boring though. If you want I will be glad to take it off your hands. I only have .40 sized stuff, and a hangar 9 twist on order.
