C172 FTCG in YYC.
1999, First Solo in GSMR, my favourite Katana (can't remember why the hell it was my favourite, but whatever.)
Loved flying out of Calgary - I landed there just before this past xmas for the first time since I got my PPL back in '99, but didn't have time to swing by the school and see if she was still there...
My "Second First Solo" - deemed such because it left me with the same feelings as my First Solo - was in Chipmunk FRRI. Love that little airplane...
What was the first plane you ever flew?

I was in a medivac about 2 hours after birth; If anyone in BC knows what type of medivac aircraft they might've sent up to Fort Nelson in 1985 can tell me what type of plane it was.
Other than that, probably the next earliest plane ride was in a Beaver when I was 6 or so.

My first ariplane i got to log was C152 C-FIEG, which was leased by Whitehorse Air Services, and is now, sitting un-leased in Carcross, Yukon, and not flying at all. I see it whenever I fly over, or drive by the strip. Currently the flight school ownd C-GFGS, a great 172, which was the second aircraft I flew. Pictures maybe to come when the beer wears off.... yeah..

Flying is the second greatest thrill in life... landing is the first.

first flight was in a sask lifeguard KA200, maybe 1997 or 98'?
won a 'be a pilot for a day' contest, and there i went.
if anyone knows who was flying for the sask gov out of YQR in and around those years, and flew a kid to YXE and back for a joyride, throw me a PM - should maybe thank that guy.

CF-TXV a Super Cruiser when I was about 7
CG-MAY DHC-2 Beaver when I was 12 on a trip back from summer camp and got hooked.
multiple C-150's 152's and 172's when starting my flight training.
PA-44 for my multi and IFR.
about 14 different Twinotters.
and some King Airs now that I have been in the industry.
And I'm nowhere near finished my career.

UJR's got the new exhaust for the float kit, and recently received a glorious new piston. That and the cabin heat works amazing....it's damn cold out haha. By far superior of the fleet.
Yea Dennis has all of them up for sale in hopes to sell just one. Word on the street is that he would like to bring in a Low-Wing Piper.
