Al Qaeda Targetting Alberta

Its been all over on the news that Al Qaeda has issued a warning targeting Alberta's oil and gas industry as a means of choking the United States economy. Does anyone have any further information to add to this?

Joking aside (you guy's are hilarious), I hate to say it but maybe it is exactly what Canada needs so the government will realize to tighten up the god damn borders!!! I have lot's of family in Alberta and many that work in the oil industry and the last thing I want is them to be hurt or killed but again maybe the assholes in office will get there shit together and stop letting every tom, dick and Rajinder in!!!!

An internet-based, email cannot be used to determine a threat. That's why the Alberta energy board guy said this is a low-level situation and will not be raised.

If the Dion gang get their way by using kyoto to shut down the oil patch .Those stickers will be back in print
If the oil is turned off who is going to feed all those nonproducers .With what money ???From where???

A Tory Prime Minister Brian Mulroney was voted the greenest PM that this country has had to date.

He did something other than talk about Plans .Action speaks volumes .The new greens are just full of wind

How can you use Brian Mulroney as your defence? lol... 2R, he is the worse Prime Minister we've ever had! Well, I guess while he concentrated on the green he let everything else slipped from his hand.

sure the oil sands are regulated, and properly, wow.
a great injustice will be done to our "hot" economy.
House prices in alberta won't be artificially inflated, now i can buy a garage for $300,000. You won't have to pay construction jim $200 an hour to build your dream shack. Companies like Exxon can't post PROFITS of 35 billion anymore. And every uneducated tom dick and harry can't go work in the field and make more money than 5 doctors put together.
all to save the environment, do you think all these downsides are worth it??
oh, and they will no longer make 50x the wages of the pilot flying "dem out to da feeelds"
yeah, looks like a bad deal to me.

I'm so afraid of terrorism 1500 miles away from where I live that I will now forget about every important election topic and will only vote on who has the policy to combat all of those Al Qaeda cells in Fort McMurray. Environment, health care, the economy? None of that matters if there's a little hole in a natural gas line.

Whoever can keep Mohammed from popping a hole in that natural gas line will get my vote! Especially if they can take away some of my rights and raise my taxes to pay for all of this protection!

Exactly. And just yesterday those band of idiots passed a motion calling upon the government to meet Kyoto targets. Which even many environmentalists now admit is totally impossible. Dion sure would be a great "leader" (shudder).
