Are they trying to turn Parliament into a glee club ????
Passing motions that have no purpose other than to allow do nothing politicians to posture and preen about what they believe.
Useless waste of valuable time and motion proving that a vote for the Lieberals ,Bloq,or the NDP is a waste of a vote.
Worse than watching the monkies at the Zoo beat their chest as the monkies do not cost as much to keep as that House of useless waste .
Perhaps the monkies at the zoo would do a better job than the opposition.
Standby for more hollow promises from the party that has a vast history of not keeping any of them.
Can anyone explain the point of the motion ???
I smell election looming .
Pro Kyoto motion ???

Exactly 2R, They do look shifty, all of them. The purpose of the motion is to start an election but I hope there will be alot of reconsideration on their part. I will be pretty disgusted if they do call an election.

Suzuki walks out of AM640 after global warming debate
Feb, 15 2007 - 3:20 PM
TORONTO - Turns out noted environmental activist Dr David Suzuki isn't as mild mannered as you may have thought. He stormed out of our studios this morning after a debate with host John Oakley over the merits of the Kyoto Accord. Suzuki says whether the Harper government agrees or not, Canada is already on board with the plan. Oakley says he welcomes all voices in the debate. Suzuki countered by asking if he'd welcome a creationist to chat about evolution.

Dr. Suzuki has spent too many days in the rainforest if he thinks that #1) Kyoto's conditions for a country like Canada are reasonable, and #2) that Canada could achieve Kyoto's targets within the remaining timeframe.Dash-Ate wrote:TORONTO - Turns out noted environmental activist Dr David Suzuki isn't as mild mannered as you may have thought. Most rational environmentalists have already accepted these realities. Suzuki's behaviour simply reinforces his tree-hugging & unrealistic stance when it comes to the environment.
Go back to the forest, David.
