I'm looking into doing a type rating ......
How has it worked for you?
Any pointers are gratefully accepted.
I'm not low time and already have several types of transport catagory A/C. Looking more for experiences relating to short term contract work with a Canadian licence.
Thanks folks.
Anybody trained with Active Aerospace?

Oh Boy.
The name Active Aerospace is a topic that seems to provoke interesting reactions in people. I recall about a year ago a thread on Active Aerospace at the Professional Pilot RUmour NEtwork forum (PPRUNE) quickly turned into a bar brawl with all sorts of thinly veiled threats floating around . . . the moderators got involved, the thread "disappeared," and they even threatened to make "Active Aerospace" a prohibited word-- that the software would recognize it as a swear word.
I have never had any personal experience. However, given the wide range of comments that I had seen, I suggest you do some careful research. Trying the "Search" function on this and other forums may help.
