I'm not sure, but I think you might get busted by Enforcement for charter without an OC for what you are proposing. This has come up here in the past ....

Good luck with the 100LL. Maybe Dust Devil left some in YIO?

Good place to get stuck with a big snag....and no avgas...buy a ticket on First Air! Wouldn't want your average PPL anywhere near there. BTW, It's still the dead of winter in Clyde River in April!

Before I offer a possibility, I need to know:

You mentioned at least one of the people was a CPL/IFR.
What is the significance of that? Are some of you planning to ride as anything other than passangers? And how much gear are you planning to carry (that is what is the total weight of all five people and gear.

Sounds like fun. No real great big deal about the avgas. Just need to plan it. Send it ahead of time on the sea lift and take a a few pumps with you and a manual pump as a back up. Get the local Co-op to truck it to the airport the day you arrive. Call ahead before you go to make sure it didn't make it into the gas tanks of the snowmobiles. Fly to YFB then to YXP fly the pass to YVM then north to YCY. Continuing to YIO would be worth it. When are you planning to go? I would go around the end of June first of July. Not cold, lots of light and no bugs yet.

Be willing to wait out the weather at the Inns North Hotel.

I think it's about $75/barrel to ship fuel up there one way, not including the cost of the barrels and the fuel in them. Plan well in advance as I think the ship only goes twice a year. I think in May and August. Also take any spares you can. I shipped 2 cases of oil up there from ottawa and it was $600 just for shipping.
