would there be a demand for a YYC crash pad ?

Post by Moose777 »

How much interest would there be for a crash pad in YYC similar to the ones in YYZ. I know the transit is not the greatest here but the place is 5 minutes from the c-train station.

It would be the same as the YYZ crash pads

200 bucks gives you a bed (2 bunks per room) in a fully furnished place with cable, internet, long distance phone etc etc…..

Would it work in YYC?

A Jazz guy started one up in YYC a couple of months ago and it is full, so probably room for more I would think. Alot of commuters out there.

Usually a crash pad works best in a base where

-the most junior people get stationed
-for the most part, people don't want to live there

Obviously YYZ meets both those criteria in spades. Calgary is not a "junior" base, nor is it a place that people tend to try and avoid....just my thoughts
