Most guys I know getting interviews are in the 4500-5500 hrs group, with airline experience (Some with jet time).

I was told I would get a call in 1 week, and then a week later with a yes or no (at WJ). Did they say the same to you?

Anyone know of how the hiring is going at Westjet these days I've heard it has just slowed down to allow the new hires to trickle in internally. How many hires they need for the end of the year? How often are the ground schools? How many poeple in the classes?

Not quite that high 2low. We got an email today saying 134 for 2007 and probably close to the same for next year. Classes vary from 12 to 10 and 8's. Courses every 3 weeks.

Is that 137 total this year, or 137 from now til the end of 07?

Just had the interview this morning. I then got the tour around the place and it was amazing. I think I could have ate off the hangar floor. Very professional, hope I get the job.
