Thanks, that looks pretty neat. A single person turbine helicopter, looks more Skookum than an R22.... lol.

Wonder what the purchase price is? Do you happen to know what it costs, any in Canada?

STL I checked out their website, $24,000 US for the kit and a additional $12,500 for the T62-T32 Turbine (150 HP). It appears the turbine is originally used as a GPU engine. Interesting start, you can hear him crank and then pause. Also, seemed like alot of modulation required for the start.

I noticed that too, a lot like a Allison C28 or C30 start....

Would be a fun little thing to have, although one more seat would certainly make it more appealing.

Why don't you heavy hitters pay wise buy one and lend it to me for the summer so I can do a in depth test flight evaluation?

Cat, this single seat thing is kind of new with helicopters. How would you go about getting a check-out on something like this. I know it is nothing new on the fixed wing side but I have never heard how this is done.

Kamax pilots have to go to the KAMAN factory and get a Husky check-out which apparently is very similar.

Interested in your thoughts.

It's really no big deal all you need is some recurrent in something like a R22 with a low energy rotor and get in the fu.kin thing and fly it.

Wear your helmet just in case.

You buy it and I'll demonstrate how to learn to fly it....
