More Piaggio Pilots Out of Work.
So I see that DW has put all 3 Piaggios up for sale at the same time. I guess he has just given up on the silly world of aviation. Never seen someone sell an entire fleet before. I guess now is the time to get a cheap Piaggio for all you P180 lovers out there.
On another note, I wonder if the guys flying WRK (or ASP061) were told before the aircraft were listed on controller? I hope they have a back-up. Best of luck to the drivers.

Rectum, damn near killed 'em
The RCMP has a Piaggio?
Speaking of Piaggios, I was surprised to see the RCMP has a P180 based in Ottawa. It really doesn't seem to match the rest of the fleet - does anyone know how it is working out? What do they use it for?

where's your integrity....
I guess "integrity" only applies to the employees!
Is this the easy way out for DW from Spint, just sell the airplanes and walk away.

Re: The RCMP has a Piaggio?
I believe it's for some sort of task force or S.W.A.T team. I hear all the gear has to travel in a seperate A/C like a PC-12 because of weight and range issues. I can't remember who gave me that info so I can't confirm it's accuracy 100%RLP wrote:Speaking of Piaggios, I was surprised to see the RCMP has a P180 based in Ottawa. HMMM, interesting.......
I thought DW was all about how great these Piaggio's are? Or did he just get tired of flying 200 miles and having to get gas? Or did he just get tired of having to wear a helmet now everytime he went in the plane.......
Anybody know how the one Corpac pilot is doing all by himself at sprint, cleaning the plane and being an f/o ?

Futuristic ship but that's not what the maintenance guys call it, their pet name is "the pig".RLP wrote:Speaking of Piaggios, I was surprised to see the RCMP has a P180 based in Ottawa.
