I would have to say that no less than 30 for an F.O. starting
and no less than 48 for a starting Capt would be fair, but good luck getting that.

There are a lot of f/o's in MB and SK working for less than 30 on the 1900. I would say between 20 to 25k it more like what's getting paid. I don't think Georgian even pays 30k to starting f/o's.

That's disgusting...but don't forget there's some kids ready to do it for half or free if you don't take the job.

What is this industry coming to.... or maybe it is already gone. Most F/O on a 1900 are probably 3-5 years into there career and making less than 30 K a year??? That is terrible! I make more than that at my first job flying single engine light cassnas.... mind you I got lucky, but I would hate to think I will have to take a pay cut like that to move up with the next job. I think that pilot are their own worst enemies in most case.... aways trying to get ahead, but where does it stop?

It is my understanding that the WestJet folks, at least those who hired on in the first couple of years, made out like bandits (stock options). I further understand that even those who hired on later are making well over the industry average (again stock options). Those who have hired on during the past 12months on the other hand, can only hope that the Westjet stock takes off again......

Get back on track......SO, 1900 payscales... Keep the numbers coming. This is important to a future decision. bang head

Was told that Georgian F/O's start at $26 000 on the 1900...with no chance of upgrade for a few years...screw that. Not sure about the cappies though.
