All you lot do is attach yourself to whoever will listen to you. In this case Widow.
CKS, rather than make ufounded unintelligent accusations about people whom you know nothing about why don't you offer your experience, knowlege and contacts to widow and help her cause?
It seems to be a shame for someone to pop up on Avcanada and waste their talents on the wrong side of things.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
CKS, we wait with bated breath for you next moronic comment. Tell us what you know, Oh, great and wise one! We will be your humble servants at the feet of your worldly wisdom. Oh please, enlighten us, the ignorant masses!
CKS, you have surpassed "Confused" for insensitivity, tastlessness, and sheer ignorance in attacking Widow.
Whatever you make think, (and you can keep it to yourself!), Widow is challenging the status quo on safety. If you are a pilot, her efforts will assist in your safety. Us "lot" appreciate her.
Maybe you have never lost a family member, or a friend. It is just astonishing that you could not only be so low, but express yourself in such base terms.
Congratulations, CKS. Ever since Cloudcounter vanished, we've needed someone to provide the absolute worst and the lowest form of postings on Avcanada. You know, the zero on the scale? Its you, definitely.

"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."
He can fly under the McDo's M with his latest Flight Sim B747.
Easy one though, cause he bought the rudder pedals and the power console kit so he could turn his kitchen in a real big airplane cockit, with dials, levers, buttons, switches he ingeniously designed and built from cardboard.
He even puts a uniform on to do it. I do that too cause apparently it helps acquiring the feel of the real machine.

Flying an aircraft and building a guitar are two things that are easy to do bad and difficult to do right
Doc, your finger must be pretty close to the big red button now, and as far as I am concerned, feel free to press anytime...or should we play a little more?
That entertains me actually cause it's been a week I'm immobized in big pains with broken ribs instead of flying.
Stupid me, I fell from the airplane(deplaning, of course!!!) last week...
Cheers to all
Gilles

Broken ribs can be a real bitch. Did in a couple a few years ago by falling through the hatch on my sailboat! Try not to laugh too much.! Doc's orders!
As far as CKS goes, you will notice a few less posts by him on this thread. I'm getting a little tired of people joining the site who have nothing to ad. No, strike that. People who join JUST to launch personal attacks.
CKS... if you want to post....there are to be no more personal attacks...on anyone.
Thanks Doc, it really hurts and mostly when I laugh and that's all the time.
Maybe I should share the experience cause I'm sure I'm not the only one to whom it happened...
Landed with skis down, got the pax out through the rear door, forgot the parking brake so when I stood on the wheel, it spun and I my back landed on one landing gear strut and my head on the other one, both legs straight up.
The doc found no head injuries but several ribs wrecked. I just feel like a bag of sharp bones

Good job doc you go on protecting your little buddies. Interesting you've never removed Twotters or Catdrivers posts. Many times they have resorted to name calling and personal attacks.
Thanks for proving my point!

And I nearly did it on a lake 2 hours from base some time ago. I am kind of fortunate that it happened at the base this time. I just couldn't walk for the rest of the day and would have never been able just to climb back in the Otter and even less to fly it
We should have a Deplaning Checklist, or include Parking Brake On on the Before Landing section!
Wonder how much money the WCB spent on that type of accident. One thing for sure, it will never happen to me again! ouch oooouch!
