suing a TC inspector

Post by snaproll20 »

To MCDU.
How dare you call me an "Inspector"....???!!!!.....Jeez!
I am very interested in the 56 ( now 56 plus) people's opinion on the inspector in question. merely because we likely share common ground.
The pity is, we do not share common, committed purpose.
Just wanna know when the lawsuit goes in so we all can be rid of that low-life piece of garbage.
So, any of you 56 plus feel like sharing your information? PM me.

"Inspector" indeed!!!!

Birddog...

Allow me to explain my comment regarding " New ones "

The Liberals are fond of building a voting block consisting of " New Canadians " ( many with shady backgrounds ) to help tip the scales in elections.

The "shady ones " in my opinion fit right in with some of the " Shady ones " in the liberal power machine.

Yeah that's the immigrant dream. To leave their friends and family behind, risk everything they have to get to Canada so that they can vote liberal. Of course they also plan to live like kings on welfare and impregnate our women.

Cat driver with posts like that TC may pull your licence for dementia.

Hey Dude :

You don't believe the Liberals have depended on immigrants for part of their voting block for decades?

And you don't believe that Canadas immigration system is a like sieve allowing many "shady" immigrants into the country based on on our "liberal" policies?

As far as TC and my license goes, fu.k em I don't need it.

But they can't touch it anyhow even if they wanted to. :D

Cat driver, I don't disagree with you that Liberals pander to new Canadians for their votes during an election, but who doesn't? the same goes for women, gay and lesbians, bible thumpers, disgruntled white men, enviros and so on. That's politics, they all do it! But you talk of a conspiracy by liberals to import shady immigrants who will only vote for them. It's that kind of xenophobic talk that turns off many new Canadians from voting for the right, even though most of their core beliefs would be considered conservative.

As far as our immigration system goes I would agree it has problems but not as you said, "it's a sieve allowing many "shady" immigrants into the country". bit dramatic, no? We are going to get shady people in any population, lets not exaggerate thier shadiness just because they don't look or talk like us, I know it's very easy to do. Lets face it, with all it's problems we still have a great country here, most people in the world would give their left nut to be here. let's not start tearing at it just because you hate the liberals. I'm not saying you should keep quite about things that are wrong, but to generalise the problems and blame it on immigrants, come on.

Dude, our immigration system does have as many holes as a sieve. The cry of racism is the standard Liberal crap line to anyone critical of their policies. Unfortuneately, many of their policies hurt legitimate immigrants who just want a piece of the Canadian dream.

Currently, we have thousands of criminals, convicted of crimes in both Canada and their countries of origin, wandering our streets as refugees and landed immigrants. Most are bilking the welfare system, selling drugs, thieving, pimping, extorting, robbing and otherwise inflicting pain and suffering on others. Immigration doesn't even know where the hell most of them are. Drug dealers, gang members, triad members, the list goes on. What's done to get them out of Canada? Not a dam thing!

There was an article in the Post last week describing a Sri Lankan gang member caught with an AK47 in the back seat of his car on the way to do a drive-by shooting. Three years after his conviction he finally has a hearing with the immigration board. Of course, he's no fool. In that three years he got married and knocked up some chick. Now, they won't kick him to hell out of the country because it would be "too much of a hardship on his family." Instead, the scum bag gets to stay, commit crimes, turn his kid into the next generation of criminal, etc, etc. Had those brain dead Liberals done their jobs properly that piece of feeces would have been on a boat the day he was convicted. Any bets on who he'll be voting for now that he's a Canadian?

This guy's story is repeated thousands of times a year. This guy and those like him leave tens of thousands of victims in their wake. Many of those victims are from their own ethnic communities. Honest people who came to Canada hoping to get away from his type of dirt bag. Of course, to the surprise of the honest immigrants, the crooks got here first by jumping the que with a bogus refugee claim.

There are millions of hard working, honest, skilled people in all parts of this world who would jump at the chance to come to Canada. We simply should not allow the world's criminals and riff raff to come, or stay here. Of course, though, as long as there are votes to be bought, the Liberals will keep the status quo. Hell, last election they even took it up a notch. The criminals became entitled to vote from their prison cells.

Wilbur, I don't remember accusing anyone of racism in my post, and our discussion was about naturalized Canadians citizens, not illegal immigrants.
You need to understand that nothing sells newspapers, or gets ratings for sleazy local news programs like fear. Fear of what? fear of everything that can be exaggerated, such as...
thousands of criminals, convicted of crimes in both Canada and their countries of origin, wandering our streets as refugees and landed immigrants. Most are bilking the welfare system, selling drugs, thieving, pimping, extorting, robbing and otherwise inflicting pain and suffering on others

I really hope you don't think this way, it would suck to go through life with so much fear and ignorance.

I work in the justice system. Yes, it is tens of thousands.

Hell, a couple years ago there were hundreds of central americans, Salvadorans if I recall correctly, working as drug dealers at the Skytrain stations in the lower mainland. Primarily New Westminster. I don't know if the police and immigration have a handle on the problem now or not as I'm out of that area.

Those scumbags were all here for years with refugee claims. All the while they continued cycling between selling drugs and going to gaol for selling drugs. Those that eventually got sent back went with more money in their pockets than they could ever have dreamt of making in El Salvador and were quickly replaced by others. Some got to stay and are still here doing crime. Who do you think they will vote for as newly minted Canadians? Thats one Skytrain station in one neighbourhood of one city in one province.

How about when BC had one entire prison filled with nothing but illegal Chinese immigrants. They actually needed two prisons because they rioted and smashed up the first. Likewise, that episode was an almost three year drain on the tax payer. Almost all went back in the end, but heaven forbid we should not spends millions and millions searching out the odd one in the group who was not connected to organized crime! Who do you think those that got to stay in Canada and become citizens are going to vote for?

How about the very public street racing and criminal negligence cases in BC over the past few years that have caused the deaths of several people. They killed people because of wanton disregard for the lives and safety of others. Not one of the landed immigrants involved was deported. Why not? Who do you think they will be voting for once they have their citizenship cards. Who do you think all their family members are going to be voting for?

The Liberals have raised vote buying to a global "futures" investment enterprise.

Where is the hate mongering in anything that has been said here? Where is the intolerance? I'll concede, I dislike criminals and I'm intolerant of them victimizing inocent people. Is that wrong? Are you suggesting we should tolerate having gang members driving around randomly shooting up neighbourhoods with AK47s, or drug dealers pushing their crap on kids, or maniac drivers racing around not giving a dam who they kill?

I'm sorry, but I just don't see any value in having our society tolerate that kind of behaviour.

Skin colour has nothing to do with my point of view on this issue. If you are a Canadian crook, we're stuck dealing with your sorry ass. If you are not a Canadian and commit crimes here, I think your scabby ass should recieve a size 10 hard enough that you land back in your country of origin. If racial balance in my rant would make you feel better, here's another one for you. A person I was dealing with quite recently. He moved to Canada from Wales with his parents in his mid-teens but never became a citizen. He's now late 20's. Dropped out of school to sell drugs and steal. Has been either in gaol or on welfare his entire adult life. He was finally going to be deported but they decided it would be too much of a hardship on him. I say he should have gotten a one way ticket across the Atlantic for an 18th birthday gift from Immigration Canada.

Wilbur if you work in the justice system I can see how you can become jaded, but I think you are over stating the problem. Chew on this. 1) If you are new to a country, you have very few resources and connections. If an immigrant, lets say Apu, does get into a bind (I’m not talking about stealing babies or raping virgins) what are his chances of being arrested and convicted compared to lets say you, Mr. Wilbur, who may know the local police chief or who's kids played hockey with the cop that shows up at his door. Based on that you would think crime rate among immigrants would be much higher than the rest of the population, but it's not. Others have said it better than I can.

http://www.cis.org/articles/2001/crime/toc.html#5

http://www.icclr.law.ubc.ca/Publication ... dCrime.pdf
2. If Apu gets involved in a life of crime he will most likely be involved in nickel and dime bullshit, selling drugs, pimping and all the other stuff you mentioned. Apu will be in the news every other day and will be the talk of the local lynch mob gatherings. And we will be scared to leave the house because the newsman and the neighbors wife said we should be. Mr. Wilbur on the other hand may be friends with the likes of Conrad Black or . Guité and will be involved in the big deals, where you liberate hundreds of millions from pensioners, shareholders and taxpayers at the same time being very well respected. And don’t be fooled, you only hear about less than 1% of these people. Ever wonder how so many people can afford multi million dollar homes in places like Vancouver and Toronto? Not by working over time that’s for sure. Who do you think is the bigger drain on our society?

Wilbur I don't deny there is a criminal immigrant element in canada. I originally posted on Cat Drivers rant about naturalized canadian citizens, and the notion that they are imported into Canada because most are shady and will vote to keep liberals in power. If you can't see how idiotic that sounds well then I don't know what else I can say.

Cat Driver, if you are going to attack the Dude then have the balls to stand behind your own words. Don't sandwich your insult with "nice person" and "no hard feelings".
I may strongly disagree with someone like Wilbur on this issue, but I respect him for having the guts to put himself on the line and voicing his opinions. But I don't like your style man. I bet it's all smiles with you before the shank in the back. Very uncool.

CD's rant about the Liberals buying votes by allowing shady characters into the country, or to stay in the country is not so far off the mark. The Liberals will not take a strong stand against immigrant crime because it will cost them votes in the ethnic communities because there will be people who will do their best to spin into a racism issue.

I agree entirely that immigrants are no more likely to be involved in crime than anyone else, perhaps even less. In terms of immigrants getting different treatment from the justice system because of a lack of connections, I don't buy it. Most immigrants to Canada settle in large urban centres where a meaninglessly small percentage of people are going to be friends with the police chief, beat cop, judge or any other authority. Not to mention, anyone caught with an AK47 on their way to drive-by shooting is going to be arrested and charged. Doesn't matter what colour your skin, how connected, or how racist the cop. The issue of white collar vs street crime is a red herring. If either type of crook is not a Canadian citizen why should we incur the expense and risks of keeping them here? We do now because the Liberals will not run the risk of causing contraversy in the immigrant communities.

By the way, drug dealing is not petty crime. Aside from the physical harm done to users, some estimates attribute as much as 80% of all crime in Canada is committed to fund drug habits.

Wilbur what is it with you and AK 47, every post. I don't think anyone here has disagreed with you about deporting criminals, don't know why you keep bringing that up. I never said drug dealing was a petty crime, I was making the point that some crimes are much more visible and covered un-proportionately to their effect on our country as a whole. Also do you really think that the career criminals vote in such large numbers to make a difference in an election?

The conservatives lost the election they thought was theirs because they scared more than just the new canadians. How about you stop blaming one segment of the society for your disappointment. Jacques Parizeau, tried to pull the same shit when they lost the last referendum, do you remember the ethnic vote? Enough said.

Well Dude, you are wrong about my not having the balls to express my opinion, if my attempt at being polite is to pussified for you then I will express my thoughts in a more manly style.

However right now I am on a computer in someones office at an airport in Holland and do not have time to really get into the mood for you.

I shall go on line maybe tonight from my hotel room and we shall see if I can satisfy your need for being to the point.

O.K. Dude, I'm back in my hotel and would like to point out a couple of facts.

First, with regard to having "balls" as you put it at least I have the balls to use my own name when I express my thoughts.

When you quote what I say at least be factual, I did not say "most" new immigrants who enter Canada through the back door are shady, I said "many" of them are.

Just to jog your memory, the subject matter of this discussion is abuse of power within the regulator, Transport Canada Civil Aviation.

I would suggest that morally corrupt politicians are part of the reason we have corrupt officials abusing their power in TC Civil Aviation.

And one more thing you had better get straight Dude, I do not need to give it to anyone in the back, I prefeer to see the expression on their face while I am telling them what I think.......just ask anyone here that knows me. :)

But your forgetting it wasn't me who derailed the post, I believe it was yourself.
But the Dude's heart is not made of stone. I can see that you are remorseful of your past indiscretions. I'll let you make it up to me, say the Dude riding shotgun on the next PBY flight?

Sure, no problem.

All you have to do is show up tomorrow morning at the Avidrome at the Lelystad Airport in Holland. :)

Right now I am going down stairs to the restaurant to treat my wife to a Lobster dinner as she is going home on Thursday.

This seems like more of the "Personal Vendetta"that this Ïnspector"is on. Now I'm pissed, and it's time to play hard ball. Names will be shared shortly!
