Regency????
I am confused about Regency. Part of me wants to get a PPC from there so I can actually start flying real planes and getting some experience but I hear so many people say that they know of companies that won't hire you if you have Regency on your resume!!!
Advice PLEASE!!!

Dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go work the ramp for a year and then you can start flying. I know of two companies in Manitoba that will/are looking for rampies.
Save yourself the hassle of having that on your resume and do it for the aviation industry.
I second that motion!!!!
I have a buddy who flies for Regency and have been thinking about going there for a PPC and work. Now im not so sure though, and I think it might be back to the ramp for me.
GTSIO540 who is looking for rampies and will they give you a right seat at some point in time?
cheers

THIRD that motion!!!! Don't be sucked in by their promises of increased employment opportunities. Most of the places that would take you with 220 hours and a navajo PPC are just like rejency! You are much better off to put in some time on the ramp and learn part of your job on the ramp, then the transition to being in the right seat is much easier, and you will earn much more respect that way as well.

Regency - good guys, they helped me out a lot.
Paying for a PPC it won't do you any good unless you have the total time and the PIC that single pilot operators want.
If you have the TT, the PIC, and need to renew your IFR go for it. That way you'll get a PPC at least out of the deal.
I wouldn't say Regency won't give you a job. It is better to go in with the attitude that your going in to get a PPC then go get a job somewhere else.
That is my two cents
