Well LT, what in particular would you have us edit in this thread?Keep up the good work guys...![]()
For some time the Bear was an industry leader in Training, CRM, and a really slick radio package on all their machines. They were great competitors. Now, for whatever reason, they are losing ground routes, pilots, aircraft. The very part of the business that supported their development has been mostly abandoned.
It is not a good time to be a low seniority Bearskin guy. It is likely just as painful to be a senior Bearskin driver, to see how things have declined.
To add to JC's comments...this goes to show you that no matter how long a company has been around, and how big they are...nothing is ever guaranteed, for ever. All things must come to an end.LT wrote:Moderators: weather, I am Birddog, endless, Doc, bandaid, ahramin, Sulako, Just Curious

As far as moderating corn-shoot's post...it would be like spanking my own child in public. I can't raise my hand...sorry.
Bear
From what I know, the Owner has been doing this for many years and now that his boys are grown up, married off, he just wants to retire and spend time with his wife, boys, and grandchildren. I don't think it's going to be non-existant, just downsizing, and might be merging with one of it's sister companies...who really knows.............

Well!
word for word.
Now known as as Beartskin Airlines (or affectionately the Bear) the company, headquartered in Sioux Lookout Ontario, has grown to become an interprovincial airline with a fleet of 25 airplanes and over 100 daily scheduled flights to 16 destinations in Manitoba, to U.S. and Ontario.
Its really not a big deal like I said before I was just being A smart ass.

Judge not, oh high and mighty one. I was merely stating an observation of which I have derived from observing the company from many perspectives. And on top of that, I stated in a manner in which the slower folk on the board could understand.LT wrote:Moderators: weather, I am Birddog, endless, Doc, bandaid, ahramin, Sulako, Just Curious

So yes, have the moderators swoop in and save you from my terrible, horrible posts, I am, after all, a dangerous guy.
Does this mean that the Bear will be around for at least another 5 years?
