This video is too funny. Just listen to the stuff the videographer is saying, it's hilarious! I love this guy!

Not having watched the video my parents where on a CP 747-200 that rejected at quite a high speed, and I would say that it is a once i a life time event. They had ingested some FOD on the roll and frapped out and engine. Apparently they stopped right at the end of the runway too.

I missed the comments first time around. There are some doozies there but this one is my favorite:Jerricho wrote:Have a read through some of the comments of the first video.
Now that's funny.

What a tool! This is what happens when people watch programs like Mayday and become experts.

that video was to good to be true. "FLat as pancakes" lmaoJeremy Kent wrote:That's ALMOST as good as that footage some kid took from the back of a rejecting 767 in Osaka. "Little did we know... we were on the road to hell..."
Chinese proverb says: Before criticising a man, walk a mile in his shoes.
That way, when you criticise him, you'll already be a mile away. And you'll have his shoes.

I hate Maho beach...too much redneck american trailer trash and european airline spotters in thongs...plus it smells like garbage from the Sunset beach bar garbage bins.
Anyway, this video is by far the most spectacular landing I've seen in SXM.

The 747 landed right on the edge of the pre-threshold (chevrons) and displaced threshold...still about 200 feet from the start of the actual threshold. This picture show the exact moment it touched down.

The skid marks are still visible on the runway and are by far the earliest skid marks on the runway. I wouldn't dream of landing my DHC-6 that short!
And another one:

Ha ha...that rejected t/o video was too funny..
"could of been a 'bird-alert'..."
What the @#$! is a bird alert? Ha ha...that guy's an idiot!
We'll not too much though...although i'm intrigued by the "almost logged as much as hours as a certified pilot" comment...umm, I don't think you can log it as a passenger buddy...
