3 Cheers For Hamas!

Post by JakeYYZ »

“After the rout at the security headquarters, some of the Hamas fighters kneeled outside, touching their foreheads to the ground in prayer. Others led Fatah gunmen out of the building, some shirtless or in their underwear, holding their arms in the air. Several of the Fatah men flinched as the crack of gunfire split the air.
A witness, who identified himself only as Amjad, said men were killed as their wives and children watched.
"They are executing them one by one," said Amjad, who lives in a building that overlooks the Preventive Security complex. "They are carrying one of them on their shoulders, putting him on a sand dune, turning him around and shooting," he said by telephone.
The killers ignored appeals from residents to spare the men's lives, said Amjad, who declined to give his full name, fearing reprisal.”

Are the progressives, such as Talaban Jack and Denis Coderre that criticized the Canadian government for not recognizing a democratically elected Hamas government still feeling that way now?
I can’t wait to hear what Talaban Jack’s take is on the detained , shot and killed Fatah members of government .I wonder if he will foam from the mouth and site Geneva convention rules.

So if these stupid clowns ever get their sh!t together, and figure out a way to reconcile their two takes on Islam, will they then call the joined factions 'Fatas'?

Prediction...
Hamas in Gaza, Hizbollah in Lebanon and Syria on the Golan will launch a joint attack against Israel in the next few weeks.

side note…….
No mention of adorable tykes killed, nor corpse-parades for the international press, I notice.

I suppose you are going to follow that up Adam? Serious question, why is there such little effort in the area of PR for the Palestinians? Hamas is executing fatah members after capture? They are making far less of a stink for this massacre than they did for the Jenin massacre (and that one was proven false!)

Let's be clear here, do u think Syria, Hezeb-Allah and Hamas can defeat Israel ?!!! I would bet on Israel wining that war any day..

The Syrians are not stupid to drag themselves into a war with Israel because that would mean fighting the USA too !!!!!

As for Hamas, The news must have been great to the Israelis (Keeping the Palestinians busy fighting each others ;) ). Hamas is an extreme Islamic militant organization and Fatah is full of corrupt people who denied justice to the Palestinians... It is a 22 situation to the average Palestinian.

Cheers

While this was something I was hoping to see (a civil war amongs Palestinians) it doesnt seem like the outcome can be good for anyone. A Hamas victory means an Islamic state that many in "Palestine" do not want, and it puts a terrorist state that denies Israels right to exist right on her southern border. This would allow Israel to be much more heavy handed when dealing with Hamas, Israel would be perfectly justified in cutting off water, electricity, gas, and closing all borders etc, when it completely falls to Hamas. Alot of people will suffer but unfortunately you have to look out for yourself before you can look out for others. And once Hamas runs out of Fatah to kill they will set their sights onto Israel unobstructed.

I think that growing tensions with Syria over the Golan could eventually boil over into war. Hopefully not, but at this point it seems like it could be either way. Syria wouldnt just jump in to a war because Hamas is in it or Hizbollah is in it but if Syria went to war, the rest would follow suit. Israel could easily win against Syria because both would be playing by the rules of war. Syria has a legitimate Armed Forces with legitimate bases and are signed onto the Geneva Convention. Israel can go in with full force. Unfortunately any tactic they can take with Syria does not easily apply to Hizbollah and Hamas as their targets are usually among civilian centres. And of course the damage to the Israeli homefront by Hamas and Hizbollah rockets.

I think the Palestinians need to rething what they want in Gaza because when Hamas does overthrough Fatah and become the ruling power in Gaza alot of them will suffer. There is nothing they have left to complain about. Their elected officials are in control of the security forces and they are aiming them all at Israel. They will deserve everything they get, and they will get it. Israel can only be so patient. And I dont think anyone can deny that in the past few weeks they have shown some conciderable restraint in Gaza.

I have a feeling in the next few days or a week the gloves come off for everyone. Except for Hizbollah and Syria of course.
