came in nice and slow onto 6R. looks good

i wish they had still kept atleast 2 747's. i still dont know why they get rid of em all..

They may get the 747s back but as freighters. Hasnt been confirmed. I guess it all depends how well thos 777-200LRF's perform

Both 777LRF aircraft orders were cancelled last month.

Having flown the 747 for many years (classic and -400) I can guarantee you that you will never see another 747 in Air Canada colours. That's not necessarily a bad thing either. Too expensive to operate.

2 legs - 1 - 6 hour and 1 - 7 hour and no issues. Nice plane although the back has some odd gyrations in turbulence.

I can guarantee you that you will never see another 747 in Air Canada colours. That's not necessarily a bad thing either. Too expensive to operate.
Then why do some of the world's most financially successful airlines operate them?

Yes, that is definetly something to consider. Canada, just doesn't have that huge market like the U.S. Therefore, it is impossible to make comparisons. WJ & AC offer is sufficient for what we have.
