AC Pass travel questions

Post by Big M.A.C. »

I know that employee travel benefits kick in as of the first day but, how does it work... it must take a few days before travel cards and ID cards are made available... I have family members (parents specifically!) that are just curious...

I believe you are incorrect. Unless it has changed, travel benefits don't kick in until you've been with the company for 6 months. Its WJ where the travel benefits kick in immediately.

Changed in May as far as I'm aware. Passes are now available immediately. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

This is what I am refering to... if you look at my other post "Looking for some info" the response is that passes are available from day one. I am just looking for how they go about making it happen.

Go to ACaeronet site, Plan Travel. This requires a password. If you are on course, check with your instructor. If you're on the line, check with an MLO (manager line ops, has an office in the crew room) or the person at crew planning desk (crew room). All travel is done through the website and you will be billed as required through a credit card on file. Hope this helps. Oops, commuting to Atalanta? Are you AC? If not, disregard.
