Wow. This place is busy.

I was here 2 years ago but Summit has 2 Skyvans and a Dornier here now by the looks of it. In addition Canadian has 2 AS350s and a 206, oh and the best one is my twin otter!

We're just passing thru with a government type but just thought I'd share it with you all.

I will post pics once i get back and can download them from the camera.

Cheers,

ETTW

I'm not sure what the timeline is, I'm sure a Summit person could answer that but I do understand that it is up in the high 60% range, ie blast it, load it, ship it, melt it! I'm not an expert on this but it sure seems like a good deal.

Doc, its about time you buried the dead Kennedy - made you look waaaay too intellectual (my Bonneville could take any Norton in the corners but I lost it in the straight). Welcome back!

Have they started construction of the rail line yet? we surveyed it last summer. They just didn't know if they were going north or south with it.

Rowdy, the pictures are great but when you start taking photos of the inside you need to get out for a while. I spent 14 hours in a shack at the airport in Norman Wells shooting bulldogs with a bug gun...got a pile about a foot high...they sent me to Yellowknife for the weekend and that helped.

Aahhh Norman Wells, reminds me of a local asking me to see if my 357 Magnum would penetrate his car, so being a good type I emptied a cylinder into his car....and yeh they did penetrate.

Those were the days when you could get a permit to carry. :smt023

I remember one evening changing airplanes in Vancouver out of Whitehorse and I set off the alarm at the security gate....I had forgot to put my 357 in my baggage and still had it in the holster inside my parka.....

...it was no big deal back then, just showed my permit to carry and explained I was so used to wearing it I forgot I had it on me. They gave it to the Captain and they gave it back to me in Calgary.....

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Sure did... Pretty crazy!! I'm trying to get a day to head out with one of the tour groups... I'd like to actually hike up to it.. apparently theres a spot where you can walk behind a portion of the falls.

Lots of neat stuff in Bathurst and the area.

They were going like hell and I couldn't track him down. When we left they were doing the drill crew change and weren't on the ground for more than a couple of minutes. Sorry.
