Its an unfortunate bi-product of this industry. Everyone wants the next step NOW! Too impatient to sit back and enjoy life.
Reminds me of the story that starts with a young instructor flying circuits on a grass strip with his studet. Looks up and sees a King Air - and wishes he was there. Next, we meet the King Air captain, who longs to be on the next West Jet crew... the story continues right up to the space shuttle, where looking through the telescope the astronaut DREAMS of flying circuits on a grass strip in a Cessna 150.
Sound familiar? We're all waiting for the Bigger, Better Deal.
From the advice of my granddad, who did everything in life from flying austers, to teaching, to traveling Europe for Ford, we best slow down and enjoy what we've got, when we got it!

!! Loving every minute of it, and as has been said before, it's all about the voyage, not the destination. Best decision I made in this industry was to get off the wave. Stay in the business, but stop chasing the next big thing.

you would have got better results with a pole.
My name is Franklin Wright, and I was truly the first man to fly. My two pussy brothers took all the glory. I am so telling mom on those 2.
Anyway been fly for I guess 104 years now. Got 86451.8 hours, (just totaled up my log book) yeah that about sums it up for me.
