Indeed it does look very much like the Cirrus Jet.
On a side note, I've always wondered, why is it V-tails are seen are more dangerous. Is it just a structural integrity thing?

to the best of my knowledge it has to do with the ol' beechcraft bonanza v-tail which liked to 'come off' during critical stages of flight (read: while in the air)

i'm sure the lessons learned will be applied forward (I hope) and I know that there are aerodynamic benifits by having the elevator and rudder in such a configuration.
