New hire probationary exam
Just curious if anybody has any information regarding the probationary exams. I am on the 67 and am getting ready to write and would appreciate any info that might be available.

As I understand it yes. You are asked what equipment you fly when you book the appointment for your exam. AOM questions will obviously be aircraft specific.
The EMJ guys have there own forum which I would not have access too and I know alot of AC guys frequent this site. Just looking for a little help from some previous newbies that have written the exam.
PM me if that would be more appropriate.
Thanks

Sorry if my sarcastic sense of humor was misunderstood. Nothing personal was meant by it. Judging by your Avatar I thought you might have gotten it.beechjockey wrote:Wow, what an awesome sense of humour!!! Amazing I made it this far in my career not being able to fly.
If anybody has some serious responses, it would be appreciated.

Well, it's an open book 100 question, multiple choice exam that covers AOM, FOM, Route Briefing Notes, MEL and some Met questions. You need 90% to pass and they give you a maximum of 4 hours. Like you said, there are lots of people who have already written it so ask some of your 67 buddies for some more specifics...
