working overseas

im going to be licenced soon and i want to go work overseas, preferably Aust. but im not really that picky, any advise i can get or people i can contact would be helpful

Research where you will be going if its africa, it might not tickle your fancy. Ive known lots of people who didnt like it there.

Did you check to see if the Aussie CAA will accept your CDN licence at par?

They are going to the EASA licencing so this may be a factor.

If you go to somewhere like Aussie and look for work it might turn out but for some company to bring you to say Africa they may want a few years experience. You know what they say you begin learning after you get licenced so I dont know if they would want to pay you the big bucks to learn.

But have a go there seems to be lots of work around.

Be very careful here. You need to make sure that you are authorized to work in foreign countries. Too many operators promise you the moon but when it comes to actually doing something for ya they disappear.
