Macgyver built the metro out of gum and paper clips, but . Norris could kill him and take it if he wanted to fly it.

Tofo,

Yes, you are completely out of line...and full of $hit too. PAG obviously kicks CA's ass and has for a long time...otherwise the fund with all the cash would have bought CA?

Tofu, man, your out of hand. Kinda make me laugh tho...Bit of a case of small man syndrome it seems. Much that of JK up in Thompson. but he flys a tube. You guys should wrestle to see what company is better and makes more money.
not cool to slag someone off personally by posting their initials on the forum (unless of course you display your name/initials as well).

but if they did get into a wrestling match my money would be on JK to kick the shit out of Tofo and leave him with so many snags he'd be U/S for about a month.

Yup. And since you Perimeter guys thought running off runway ends was your exclusive domain, you hired this guy immediately after his YBQ incident. Then these guys all belonged to you again!!

As for the Big P going into Sandy lake wich is one of NAC's owner communities and served by Wasaya. Just wondering if that is a big enough market for 3 Airlines?
Perimeter has no intentions in doing scheds out of Sandy Lake...get your facts straight :!:
Perimeter: "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SAY AGAIN CENTER WAAAAAAAAAAA"

Center : "Perimeter 234 say passing altitude!"

Perimeter: "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Sorry SIR I CANT HEAR YOU THEY TOOK ALL THE ISULATION OUT OF THIS PIECE OF SHIT, BUT IM 532 NM NORTH EAST OF WINNIPEG! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Center: "Perimeter 234 Roll inverted and Pull!"
Ya they are loud, ya, they look funny, and ya you wish you could handle such a machine. The truth is that there is no other airplane that hauls as much, flies as fast and is as cheap to operate, pure and simple.

For all those who complain about 26.7 calls, at least they are being made (cant say that about NAC  ). Plus, if you dont like'em, go to the flight levels.

FR
Perimeter did try going into Sandy a few years back. They couldn't make a go of it and pulled out. Seems the other two operators had a way better success rate of getting into ZSJ. Better equipment and aircraft overall. Perimeter left their fuel tanks and went away! 1970's technology didn't seem to cut it in NWO as far as the PAX were concerned.

As far as NAC not making calls. How the hell would PAG know. You wouldn't be able to hear them over the 15 calls PAG planes make from the time they leave an airport til the time they are level. All PAG calls do is add to the squeal on 26.7 & 22.8. They walk all over everyone, and all calls become useless.

And trust me, the PC12 hauls lots, looks great, is quiet, just as fast, and sips fuel like it is at a tea party. That's why NAC has been stealing freight charters from PAG, because it doesn't haul anything??? Get real.

I have some good friends at PAG, and this is not directed at the majority of them. Like us, we are just pilots doing a job until something better comes along. But to the idiots that post some uneducated shit on here, yes; this was directed at you!

Oh yeah, I have had several opportunities, and I have turned down every opportunity to "handle such a machine". No desire. Why would I?

Well can we all agree on the following two points?
1) Perimeter makes too many calls.
2) NAC makes way too little.

NAC makes calls, taxiing, airborne, 5 miles out, level, start of decent, 20 miles out, and entering/final, and down and clear. Plus any other calls to pertinent traffic along the way. What else should we do. Make calls in the flight levels and every 5 miles in uncontrolled just for the hell of it?

That's pretty much exactly how we do it at Perimeter. The reason why people think we make so many damn calls is because there's so many Perimeter a/c flying at the same time. People seem to think that we have only 1 plane making all those calls.

NAC has NEVER missed a pay period. Everyone gets paid when they're supposed to.

Nice try Captain Highliner.

Never said for a minute NAC is great. Believe me. First to admit it's not at all.

Also never not been paid. Holiday pay, per diems etc. All current.

Just dont like unsubstantiated shit on here.

And as far as PAG making all those calls due to large number of planes in the sky. We have 11 in the sky, yet you dont hear us in Ontario even close to PAG in Manitoba. Plus it usually sounds like the same pilot making 20 calls, so I dont think one pilot is in the habit of calling for all your planes in the air. Just shitty SOP's on your part. Or vast inexperience still in flight school mode. Oh yeah, you are a flight school. I forgot.

Ok lets make a deal; PAG stops dragging out the radio calls and NAC turns the approach plates right side up, thus landing on the same runway they made 4 calls mentioning they would and not the other.

Too easy, lets all get along now

We cant do that. That's the only way we've been able to get crews lately is to hire dyslexic pilots. So when we show them the wage of $26K in writing for a FO, they think they are getting $62K and sign the bond on the dotted line!

Presto, another piece of warm meat in the seat for at least a year. Maybe they cant add logbook pages or get runway numbers down pat, but we get to keep selling cheap tickets to Northern Communities!! And that's whats important!!

Just jokes. I just posted that number for shits and giggles. FO's make $24K to start, and Captains $47K. I think this is right. A new pay scale was just implemented a few weeks ago.

And Rudy; there is no one I work with that has high Moral's. I call BS!!

Yeah, that was sarcasm. You guys should get together as a group and ask for a bump. The other pilatus operaters are giving their guys high 50's to low 70's. Maybe some of the Wasaya guys are getting even more than that on Hydro or whatever.

Hey Rudy:

Yeah I knew it was sarcasm. Mine was too...I just said no one had high moral's..lol. The morale sucking is a given. This is our new pay scale after the bump. We have asked for increases for years as we know we are on the bottom of the scale in NWO. But that's why the exodus of experience has happened. Not done yet either.

There is a handful of us that have been here for awhile, that get paid a little better. But the bump in pay really doesn't kick in until year 3 or 4, and by that time pretty well everyone is gone to Jazz, Bearskin, or Corporate. So we get new inexperienced pilots, those of us with experience do nothing but train and babysit, get disillusioned and frustrated, and the exodus continues. And the company doesn't have to pay out any of the higher pay scale as there is no one left with experience to earn it.

How is it in your neck of the woods?

Right...anyone can charge $0.05/lbs for freight! Do you really think that NAC are making profits operating out of Thompson. Good thing they have business elsewhere because you wouldn't last too much longer with those rates. Sure Perimeter charges a lot more for freight, but we still get a lot of business...must be doing something right.

Pie-lot...nice try. If we make more than the necessary calls, it's to alleviate the ambiguity between NAC's "where the fuk am I calls" and our planes. If you still have trouble hearing us...the pull your head outta your ass

You're right Company Itin, we did hire that TOOL of a pilot. This was a serious oversight on managements part. However, they were very quick to retract their steps and they fired that assh#%e.

.05c per pound. Yeah right. We just take more than 1 case of pop at a time, and dont lie about when the rest will get there. And what we do deliver, isn't broken, damaged, or exploded bags of chips. (your ground guys like your frequent chip spoils from what I hear).

You said it yourself...."if we make more calls then necessary". Necessary being what is required. Therefore you make more than what is required. Thus the squeal, clutter and unintelligible calls. Now nobody hears any real "conflicting" (you mutts love that word) traffic; because we just hear Perimeter ??? 150NM North of Winnipeg @ 17000 ft. Who cares. Not all of us in Ontario that have to listen to it.

Hey buddy don't flatter yourself, your are in Northern Ontario. You have not made it to the real world where you don't haul pop and chips. Northern Ontario is southern Ontario's fat friend and that's who you're going to be cuddling up with for awhile.

PS I'm glad you feel proud about how well you get the pop and chips up north in a hurry and undamaged to boot. I hope you get a medal for it someday.
