Asking a pilot about what he thinks of Transport Canada, is like asking a fire hydrant what does he think about dogs.

You do realize these "Bright" people you speak of are only bright amongst their own kind.
I'll ask in this thread too in case you missed it, could you outline your 5 years experience?
My flight experience has little to do with my knowledge of the aviation industry, what matters is experience in the industry, not outside looking in.
I'm not quite sure why you're having a coronary about this.

What ever...look....I give up!
You don't want to talk sense...you just make personal attacks & you have not shown me much of oyur "Wonderfull 8 years of experience"
I come up with some good arguments...you just attack me??
What if I had 5000TT......would you actually listen??? For once??
I like a good debate...you just turned it sour!

"Nonsense"...wow!!
So tell me...what kind of logic would you use if your an airline trying to set up a proper netwrok with the right aircraft...
Pick a number from a hat???
You have yet to challenge one of my points...all you have said was (nonsense, blah blah, you this, you that, etc...)
Sounds like you don't know much to me??
Sorry guys dont have GPS nor altimeter clock....but I do have a collection of Dragon/gemini model aircraft (A320,A330,A340,777,747,767, etc...)
Don't sport the sun glasses too much anymore.....
Don't think size is a problem boys....my grilfriend was winning a bit this mourning cuz her pu$$y was super soar from last night....

This guy must be a pilot, look how he spelt "sore"
Must be taking my advice on the gliding lessons.
I can picture ICEMAN working on a 737 very soon tho.
Yep, walk up to his baby with his personally modified flight plan and:
Open Valve, empty hose, pump in 38 Litres, Open Valve, Empty Hose, Pump in 23 Litres, Close the door and ready to go.
Although maybe then we'd have to call him BLUEICEMAN
It's fun being petty sometimes isn't it? I need a new hobby.

Drinking outside the box.
no wories
No worries.....they are just a bunch of clowns...that's all!
"eventually, it will close for one reason or another. So....thats just the facts."
Maybe so.....& at the time when CJ was running scheduled routes....loads just didn't seem convincing....
Some of the routes like YHZ-YYT, YHZ-YDF, YHZ-YYZ were really strong!
+
It's hard to base an airline where there are only 1.5 million people in the region....
Who knows......I think they should keep the 735 because the cost of ownership is really cheap....
Is there really a need for NGs???
(OH....& I spelled checked it for u all.....happy???)
That might be there undoing???

You're only slightly right on very few points. Most of what you're saying is nonsense. You have yet to challenge one of my points...all you have said was (nonsense, blah blah, you this, you that, etc...)

How's this:
Jetsgo failed because
1) they spread their network out from coast-to-coast
2) they tried to compete against two and in some cases three other more well established airlines on many routes
3) they had an inferior inflight product and poor customer service
4) they had an inefficient aircraft not suitable for some of the routes they were flying
5) they had an aircraft type that required a lot of maintenance work (which led to a lot of delays and cancellations) and cost more to operate
6) they ran into some seriously negative PR with all of the safety incidents they had (60+ over a span of 4 years, I believe?)
7) they started pricing tickets below cost, not believing the competition would match

All of those points played a role in Jetsgo's demise. People may have flocked to Jetsgo because the price of flying YVR-YYZ was $49 or , but not very many people flew Jetsgo if the price was the same on the competition. Nothing that Jetsgo offered kept people coming back. Especially when they had some serious incidents which raised more than a few eyebrows at TC and on the aviation forum's.
That's it for me.

they decided that they'd challenge WS & AC on YVR-YYC and YVR-YEG and AC in the triangle (yes, you were right on that point)\"
Yes...100% I agree...did I not come with some of these points before???
+Challenged AC on rapid air routes (Yyz-YUL, YVR-YYC, YVR-YYZ, ETC..)
+Ticket pricing @ 10 cents for YUL-YYZ
+Shit airplanes
+Grew too fast...
+Horrible PR
Though I don't agree 100% with point 5.......yes maintanace cost was super high on the 83s & F-100s....but the cost of ownership was super cheap....Leblanc bought the F-100 for virtually nothing..
Maybe it's my opnion, but I thought management did not mind too much about delays....I believed that they expected it given the aircraft they were using???
But , maybe that's just me

Oh ya...aI almost forgot..
Last point about Jetsgo, then that's it!
Couple of months prior to shutdown, TC revoked their abaility to fly above 29,000Ft....
Xtra fuel burn.....

Get your facts right, TC didnt 'Revoke their ability'THEICEMAN wrote:Oh ya...aI almost forgot..

RVSM airspace was implemented and idiot managment didn't file the proper paperwork and JetsGo didn't get RVSM status, and it's not above 29,000, they were restricted to FL280 and below (non-rvsm airspace)
I thought the F100 was a nice enough airplane, anyone who's worked around them will always remeber those RR engines and their unique engine start-up sounds.
