Job Description:Full-time, year-round employment flying DHC-2 and/or DHC-3T in Fiji. Candidate should have a minimum 1000 hrs floats. Coastal float time is preferred.

Salary:F$46,500/year (Fijian$)

46,500 Fiji Dollar = 30,061.4 Canadian Dollar

I'm sure it would be awesome to work down there. However that one year committment is hard to swallow with that salary. I mean I have truck payments, student loans, rent, not to mention the girlfriend! haha she wouldn't be very pleased!

Then again I dream about ditching everything and going south... maybe next year!

You're right, although it's still just under $4000/month to spend in the local economy.

You're kinda right too.

North,
Sell the truck to pay off the loan, and leave the rent to the ex-girlfriend.

Hawg,
No tipping here. You lose out on income, but you save 10-15% on every meal you eat out too.


Sometimes you have to squint hard to see the bright side.
