I was a real hit at the last place I worked . Just prior to the drug tests I stopped by Tim Hortons and bought "poppy seed " bagels for all the Captains. The co-pilots advanced very quickly after that.

How well I remember the OMNR Bird Dog Officer who smoked dope on a regular basis, even on yellow alert playing golf.

It really helped of course that his was daddy way up there in the chain of OMNR.

Any idea of how far up the ladder they moved him?

On a serious note, who gives a crap what people do. Everyone has their own limits and should know when to stop. Yeah I know it's somewhat illegal and maybe for that reason alone should be a reason not to do it. But as far as clouding the brain it's no worse then having 2 or 3 beer the night before and getting 8 hrs sleep. Can anyone raise their hands and say they haven't had a couple beers the night before. I don't do weed because I don't like doing it but as far as other people and pilots are concerned go right ahead, just be responsible about it. But as always it's you own decision and just keep in mind the risks involved legally and financially (loosing job). Just stay away from the junk like crack cocaine and heroin. And if anyone asked you say "I DON"T DO WEED MAN".

Thanks for the welcome. Personally though I have never had any problem with people smoking weed as lond as they are responsible. And I would like to correct myself, maybe the night before is to soon. Save it for vacation or something.
