An occupational hazard of being a pilot is that travel is frequently involved. See, when the aircraft goes someplace, the pilot flying it has to go with it. And airplanes really aren't very useful when they're sitting on the ramp, not going anywhere.
If you don't really like the idea of going places (eg leaving terrannah) rethink your career choice.

Well i was basically in the same position as you were about 6 months ago. To get into a college like Sault or Confed you need to have those physics and math down pat. i'm at Algonquin college now you should take a look they aren't so big on math but in the ground school they do explain the necessities for flying like principles of flight and such but basically what you need nothing extensive like you would get at Sault or Confed. also for Sault you need University Physics or caluculus, and for Confed you need the physics as well.

yes..basically what Feenix(franco) is saying is right. Who is gonna ask for an in depth chart explaining the trends of the X and Y curves of your plane when you are experiencing an engine failure when your actually in flight...a prof? no..nobody. If you have 10 fingers and a brain, you will be fine adn a little thinking never hurt anyone either. 
Thunder Bay is a really nice place, good for the outdoors and is also a big enough city to have some good bars and restaurants. I'm assuming you are young and will go into res, you'll have no problems meeting friends if you do or don't, a program like this lends well to making good friends.
You'll have to do more of your own research to find out the costs and do your budgeting. A car would be useful for getting to the airport and back, since most of your classes are there. Off campus housing is reasonable as well.
If you have any questions about Confed let me know since I'm in the program now. I also flew about 25 hours at Brampton. It would be a good idea to get a few hours under your belt so you know if this is what you want to do.

ya i know i will try hard. its gona be hard financely. goin to the airport n stuff for the flying part. proly gona have to rent a car or something. any1 know much it cost to rent a car there. or should i just buy my own car and drive to thunderbay. any idea how long the drive will be from brampton to confed college.
