Post by pilot to dispatch »

Anyone know where I might find a "Worste customer service of the year" award for these fine hags at the YYC pass office??

Yeah, they suck. What a waste of a couple days trying to deal with them and get your pass sorted out...

No such thing as efficiency in service in that office. I like watching them go and come back from their coffee breaks and lunch breaks while I sit waiting in the hallway for hours on end to get my fecking photo taken and have a card printed... about 4 minutes in total...

I've no experience with the YYC pass office, but is there somebody out there which can give an accurate comparison to YYZ?

I personally found YYZ to be my vision of hell.

Is the idiot security nazi still so called "teaching" us dumb airport folks on where we are allowed with our security passes? 4 hours of my life I will never get back.

I can only imagine they're all quite similar. The illusion of security saving us all from the bad guys!

Yes, and the idiot security nazi remains completely unqualified to be teaching this sort of material.

I loved waiting in the YYC office and listening to them laugh at length at the awful pictures they were taking for the passes and how dare that one person complain. Horrible.

These clowns wouldn't last a day at a real job before they'd get canned. Trouble is there is no accountability in that department as I'm sure they are patronage jobs with no qualifications required and no chance of ever getting fired. I'd love nothing better than to give them the same service they give the rest of us one day.

I have to go to the YYC pass office to renew tomorrow... I am not looking forward to it. The ink wont be "black enough" the letters wont be "block enough" they are the worst of any airport in the country I have ever had to encounter.

Had to renew in Calgary recently. Tried the south office at 14331
Mcleod Trail SW. Open 8.30 to 4.30. I got there at 8am and was in
and out in 1 hour. I'll go at 7:30 next time as was one helluva line
up shortly after 8.

having wasted much time in both pass offices...I'd take YYZ over YYC anyday...

Although the WJ FA's are much prettier to stare at than the talent that frequents YYZ :)

I was the only white guy at the YYZ office the other day. And there were some people who haven't heard of deodorant!

From my experience, YYZ is FAR worse than YYC. Even with an appointment at YYZ you are still looking at 2-3 hours of your day sitting in those comfortable chairs.

In comparison, I spent a total of 45 minutes over 2 days in the YYC office, friendly service to! I think the key to the YYC office is the time of day you go. (I won't divulge my secrets on this one)

Happy pass getting,

Neo

Having done the pass office thing in both YYC and YYZ this past year, hands down the worst is YYC. Granted YYZ changed to the appointment system just after I got there so it was much better than the 8 hour waits I'd heard about. I've never been at the YYZ office for more than 45 min. YYC - hours...

And yes, last I saw the she-male was still there.

I've waited 4 hours at the yyc pass office, and the real kick in the nards is that even though they know full well it's a 4 hour wait and they close at 4, they still hand out numbers until 10 mintutes to close!
