Post by Sulako »

10 - 20 cm of snow tonight, depending on who you believe.

Check out the TAF for London tonight.

At 07z in YXU, they are expecting either:

3/4SM -SN VV006 or
2SM -SN VV010 or
1/4SM +SN -PL BR VV005 or
3/4SM -SNPL BR VV006 or
2SM -SN OVC010 or
2SM -FZRA BR OVC005

At 06z in YYZ they are expecting either:

P6SM -SN SCT020 OVC040 or
2SM -SN VV015 or
3/4SM -SN VV008 or
1/2SM SN VV006 or
1SM -SN OVC010 or
1/4SM +SN VV005

My head asplode.

Snow's only starting around 11 local or so, so probably will only affect the morning departures.... bunch of tired sweaty people who had too many breakfast burritos from McDonalds on the way to the airport, #115 for departure, just in there getting all mixed up, cranky and bloated :D

I beg to differ Cat, Port Coquitlam for all the same reasons but with hills is far worse than Lichmond.

Well its 8am, I was supposed to be at work at 7, I shoveled myself out, still no plow, there is roughly 7 cm on the ground barely over my ankles. I called my co worker at work to tell them I would be late, No one at work. As a person from the Maritimes this is slightly embarrassing. I'm going back to bed, Southern Ontario sucks.

Nobody is forcing you to stay. Right this way to the door please.

Getting pretty tired of people dumping on my city. I love it here in Toronto and think Southern Ontario is awesome.

I was the DD last night for my fiance and a few of her drunk ass friends. I cant believe the amount of people in this city (CYXU) that will stand out in the snow and cold for an hour waiting to get in a bar. Sure I don't mind looking at the fine looking young ladies in really short skirts, a tank top and high heals, but where the fck is your brain? The $2 coat check is going to kill you.

Putting 80L of fuel in my truck every 5-600km sucks but driving around on shitty roads in a FWD V8 is a ton of fun. It was snowing hard enough that my windshield would be covered over just waiting for a traffic light, if I had left the wipers off.

About 30 cm and counting here in YQT, just a normal winter storm for northern Ontario. The only thing that sucks is a deep layer of snow will prevent a good hard layer of ice from forming on lakes that have just frozen over. That could hurt the ice fishing season....a true dilemma!

Having lived in most major cities in Canada and a few overseas, I have to agree with you Nightflight. Nice place to live!
