Why did you switch?

Some quality advice in this forum... I'm really not sure if I want to be a fixed or rotary pilot. Maybe you can help me, this is for pilots who have switched from airplanes to helicopters, why did you switch? I've noticed some 1000+ hr. fixed wing pilots switching, did you switch because rotary is more enjoyable to fly, or did you just want to try something new?
