Best FTO in Canada for PPL?
Is anyone able to recommend a good flight school for doing a Canadian PPL in Canada?
I am open to suggestions and just wondered what the concensus amongst Canadians is regarding good schools in Canada for a well rounded PPL experience?
I will progress to ATPL, once I have my PPL and the required number of hours?
How is Moncton, ProIFR, Harvs Air and WWC as a flight school?
Is it best to do the PPL in Controlled or Uncontrolled airports?
Thanks

MC, dont be abrupt!
The ATPLs in Europe are undoubtedly the hardest set of exams some one is ever likely to encounter!
You do 'more' than work your 'bag' off here!
I wasn't asking about a school for the ATPL, this was fpr a PPL, and I know that 'choosing an FTO has nothing to do with the ATPL'.
If you have nothing constructive to say, dont say it at all! Period.

You mentioned JAA,
what i was getting at (poorly as it may have been done) was that to get an ATPL in Canada and make it worthwhile, you need the hours to go along with it, and we all know the first few don't come so easy. Where as in much of Europe a "frozen" ATPL will do, along with a couple hours.
2 different scenarios
MC,
As far as i know, the notion of the frozen ATPL (0 to fATPL) as it is known, allows you to clear the ATPL ground exams concurrently with alongside (or before) your CPL Training - Provided that you meant the hours requirements 150 for CPL etc.
Once you reach the 1500 hour mark your ATPL is unfrozen, which goes back to as you were saying to making it worthwhile you really need a ton of hours.
At the moment I am at the very early stages of training and I am sure you can appreciate the logistical issues with doing it in a foreign country without being able to take a sabbatical (yet
).
I would be eager to discuss some other FBO's in U.S or Canada that you think would be well worth considering?
I am looking to get as much multi-time as possible - The U.S seems to offer some good packages in FL.
