Could some one provide me with some basic information about it.
I have a phone interview set up for the end of this week. I am really excited about this. All they told me was that it would be about 45 minutes and have a copy of my resume on hand for referral.
Just on a side note- I know this is just the first step and I hope i am successful. To all those who have supported me so far on this journey ....Thankyou!
The phone interview is a lot more them talking to you than you talking to them. They spend most of the time confirming information re your work history, references etc. The also cover a lot of info concerning details of the position....YYC base, pay structure, benefits probation training etc.
They will probably ask no more than 2 behavioral type questions (tell us about a time). I got the feeling it was to make sure that you've done a least something to prepare for the prescreen call... and to see if you can express ideas/ communicate effectively.
Very laid back, easy going . Have a copy of the resume they have on hand, a glass of water and be prepared to answer the "why WestJet" question.
Seriously its a few questions that is open book. AIM, CAP GEN stuff. Basically seeing if you can accurately look up a few questions in a reasonable amount of time.

Everything so far has been right on. The one thing to definitely add is that Gina (sp?) is really great to talk to. Just be yourself. So far I am very impressed and can't wait to meet the team in YYC!
I'm preparing for the face to face interview and would appreciate any feedback anyone has, or advice?
