Pop can bomb
So I was flying on a large Canadian regional airline the other day. When offered a drink, I asked for a can of ginger ale. The flight attendant said that she wasn't supposed to give me the whole can because I could make a bomb out of the can. I'm just wondering if this is an SOP or if she made it up herself. I've been offered the can several times by other flight attendants.
In case you're wondering, she did end up giving me the whole can after I promised not to make a bomb. The flight landed without further incident.

"Yeah. There is a problem. You...because you're dangerous. You're dangerous and foolish - and that makes you dangerous! Now, let's cut the...crap. We've got a plane to fly. Let's try to be on time, okay?"

man, even uttering that word aboardt a flight/in the airport is a terrible idea. being an active flight crew member and using that word in the cabin for anyone to overhear and over react is stupid and irresponsible. All it would take is for someone to freakout and start yelling "BOMB!!! what BOMB!!! ahhhhhhh!!" and youve got a panic on board.
Isn't there signs all over the airports that mention that even joking about a bomb or a hijaking is an offence?
I do think the fact that this is the way it is now sucks but really the F/A should know better.

On the serious side of things though, I agree with Rightseatwonder and wouldn't even mention the "B" word, crew member or not!

If it was the Kabul Philharmonic Orchestra/Choir, I think you, as well as we (later on youtube), would have seen a different show unfold.Driving Rain wrote:I know what you mean.
