Not true at my previous employer all AME’s had a work visa for the US to maintain our aircraft while flying in the States, not a problem. When people ask what I do for a living I tell them I’m an Avionics Technician, gets a better response than Engineer. You shouldn’t feel so insecure about your job title; it doesn’t make you who you are...... I think you need a hug.

Check out the toronto Saturday Star (wed feb 23 2008). I see Gulfstream (good ole Georgia) is looking for ENGINEERS. Maybe some of you engineers (AME types) might want to apply for positions down there.....

Just thought some of you might be interested .....

Try and get a visa to work for a US company on their US airplanes!

I'd have to admit there are days I would love to take the "engineer" that designed some things and say " OK look at that now you take that out of there". :smt040

Oh, and is a Holstein white on black or black on white :roll:
