Adlair job posting.
In their job posting, they state that they do three week rotations to Canadian "cities". Just wondering which city/cities?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Adlair job posting.
I would expect Canadian Cities means just that.
Probably anywhere you can make flight connections to CYCB in 2 days.
Can't be easy convincing experienced drivers to spend half their life in Cam Bay.
This could be a pretty good job though. Adlair has a decent rep as a company and CG would be a pleasure to have as a CP.

Re: Adlair job posting.
Not a bad salary either....too bad you would spend a chunk of it getting home....
Re: Adlair job posting.
I thought the ad was making the assumption that they would pay for the airline flights to and fro

Not a bad deal if that is the case. Anyone know what sort of time they want other than an ATPL?

These days, how 'bout a pulse. Vision would be a plus too...
I would say the more PIC, KA, PT6, gravel, and Arctic time the better. Contact them: you have the time you have and they need a driver, if it's a match, pack your parka.

Re: Adlair job posting.
They will rotate anywhere a/c, jazz, WJ, Cdn north or First air flies
Re: Adlair job posting.
So when they say 3 week rotations, does that mean 3 weeks in and 3 weeks out?

Re: Adlair job posting.
yup 3 in 3 out, unless they are short of crew you will be asked to stay longer. they pay for all your flights, housing, and food well at work. its a good job and the money is pretty damn good for medevac and working half the year. also with CG taking over as CP things should only be getting better. you won't find a better bunch of guys to work with.
Re: Adlair job posting.
It all sounds very good. I'm sure there's a lot of "on call" down time, but what sort of flying hours annually would a pilot in this job aquire in an average year.

What happened to the last driver?......these guys dont have much turnover at that salary.....
not a bad gig.....

Buried in the permafrost, remeber you don't have to out run the bear just your co-pilot.
Re: Adlair job posting.
I'd say you get about 800-900 hours a year. FO's don't rotate. Pretty much on call 24-7.
