YYZ-MEX

Post by DNRFA »

Do you know if the Mexico City flight from Toronto (inbound & outbound) is subject to weight and balance restrictions?

Outbound on the 319 I've never seen it.Out of MEX either if it's a 319 or a 767.
The 320 (only used if there's a screw up) is usually restricted out of MEX.
YUL-MEX I have been wieght restricted maybe once due to extremely strong headwinds and the need for much more fuel than ordinary.

I've been doing them consistently for the past 10 months. There should be no problems as long as OAT stays around 22 Degrees Celsius.

Did it this past Sunday with only 108 passengers (out of 120). We were right up at max with OAT of 26 Degrees C. Temperature goes from about 18 degrees in the morning to about 26 late afternoon.

For the summer, Flight 990 (AM Flight) should not encounter any problems. Haven't had any problems to date on Flight 992 (PM Flight), but we've never had a full load, and have always been at max weight.

Thank you guys for your replys! It turns out that we flew on AC993 on the 14th and came back via YUL on AC994 (Flight to YYZ was oversold). No problems at all!

Was wondering if there's a list of all the flights that are subjected to weight & balance issues. I just don't want to bother you every time I plan to travel!

Thanks again!
