Also, they do not send their troops overseas or away from their homeland. I don't imagine it would play well in a muslim country if Isreali troops were there either...

I imagine they are not in Afghanistan for the same reason they did not go to Iraq. The US asked them not to get involved when they offered. There is enough Muslim Vs Jew as it is, and throwing Israel into the Iraq (or Afganistan) mix would only heat up the situation more.
