I heard a rumor, that Borek is selling off its assests. Anyone have any news on this

or is it just a rumor

I tend to agree with Doc about the rumour mill....but you also know what they say about rumours...they often come from something....but I doubt it in this case...

Yeah I seem to remember some idiot spreading a rumour they heard that NAC was going under, what a dummy.

P.S. I would be surprised if this one is true, I don't know anything about Borek but they sound as stable as an aviation company can be.

Borek's airplanes are worthless operated by anyone other then Borek. There engines are on condition and I dont think pratt and whitney even allows anyone new to run there engines on condition . If they do it wouldn't be just some joe blow operator. Also many of there airplanes have alot of LSTC's on them. Meaning nobody else can operate them unless the LSTC's are removed. The only way someone else can make money with this company is to buy it as a whole. Operate it as borek and keep all the perks. Thats my opinion anyways. My Grammar sucks.

KBAL buying Viking to produce the new 400 series,
when I read that I almost spit my non alcoholic beer into the sand
KBA is a bush ops, always has been and always will be, no way have they the talent to set up a production line. they cant seem to keep their talented people for any length of time.

If they wanted to produce more they could just nobody has ever offered them enough money to make it worth their while.
Money talks and male bovine excretions walks .
They have some of the best AME's in the country/on the planet .If you put those guys on an assembly line supervising production they could turn out as many planes as you have the money for
