South Africa
Hey,
I am really looking for a job in South Africa....Canadian Ex-Pat with soon close to 1000TT 600Turbine and 300PIC. CPL, Multi-IFR, Float, Twin Otter PPC. Anyone have any contacts that are looking for co-joes? I really would love to make it down there, right now living nice and close in the Maldives....so the trip would be shorter! Thanks for any help or advice.

Best advice I can give you is fly to S.A. and go to Lanseria airport and Rand airport in the J-Berg area...talk to everyone there...that will give you a good grasp of the job possibilities there.
Be careful in that area, unlike the Maldives the locals around J-Berg will kill you if you wander around to much in the wrong place.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Yeah, Lanseria airport would be your best bet. There are tons of operators flying all over Africa. Off the top of my head, try Naturelink, Solenta Aviation, National Air Charters and King Air Charters. There's more so just see what you can find. Unfortunately, Joburg is not the nicest part of SA to live but that's where most of the work is
Re: South Africa
There is a company operating in Luanda...Angola that is looking for pilots for the Twin Otters and 1900D.....quite a few Canadian here already. Contact me privately if interested....company name is..............AMS..............

No no, Loving it completely im just getting my ducks in a row cause instead of running all the way back to canada then to Africa, it would be a much shorter run to Africa from here! lol. Always looking man, never stop looking! Even with the dreams, can't fufill all of them! No no not hooked up with anyone yet, and im on Buruzu Magu...lol. Loving the Maldives, base crew at Kuredu right now as well! Its amazing! Can't believe im here sometimes! But I never stop looking, have to many goals to fufill! Cheers and thanks for the comment!
